
Neel Keiser Named President of Adams County Bank
The board of directors of Adams County Bank has named Neel Keiser as the new bank President, effective January 1, 2025. Mr. Keiser succeeded Mark Utter, who has held the position since January 2018. Mr. Keiser has held the title of Executive Vice President since January 2018. Mr. Utter will serve as Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in April 2025.
Mr. Keiser has been with Adams County Bank since January 2010, and he has served in various roles in customer relations and management. He also serves in various community roles, including as president of Kenesaw Community Development Corporation (a local non-profit), as a trustee of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Kenesaw, and coach of various youth sports teams in Kenesaw. He has previously served on the Kenesaw Public Schools Foundation Board, as an ambassador for the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce, and as a Little Blue River Pheasants Forever Chapter board member. Mr. Keiser and his wife, Angela, live in Kenesaw. They are parents of four children, Helen, Leo, Daphne, and Magdalene, who all attend Kenesaw Public School.

The bank’s board of directors has promoted several other officers as well. Dwight Junker, who has been with the bank since December 2017, has been named Executive Vice President. Kim Klusman, who has been with the bank since August 1984, has been named Senior Vice President, and she retains her role and title as Cashier. Dustin Nordhues, who joined the bank in October 2023, has been named Assistant Vice President. Lathan Ellis, who has been with the bank since December 2021, retains his roles as Assistant Vice President and Investment Officer.
